June 24th WIGS Meeting

Saturday, June 24th was our last WIGS meetup before our summer break. The theme for the meeting was “Wellness” and we had a guest speaker, Ashanti Ahiadada, and RN from the Virginia Health Department.

Ashanti touched on nutrition, hygiene, mental health and exercising. April and her husband, Randell, provided food and refreshments too. Lastly, they ended with a water balloon fight, and April volunteered to be hit first :)
