Deborah Newman, Director of Marketing & Communications
Deborah has served as FailSafe-ERA’s Web Guru since June 2019. She is the owner of Petite Taway Inc, a web design and social media marketing company specializing in working with small businesses and nonprofits. Deborah designs custom websites for a host of organizations and businesses throughout the United States and abroad. She also provides social media and web management training, designs marketing materials, and creates stategic fundraising plans. Her passion is to provide direction, guidance, and training to aspiring entrepreneurs as well as second chance citizens.
Prior to creating her web design business, Deborah was in the restaurant and hospitality business in Northern Virginia for 25 years. She earned a BA from George Mason University in The Studies of the Americas and is a published editor for

​Deborah is the Chair of the FailSafe-ERA Entrepreneur Bootcamp that partners with Germanna Community College, a once a year program held during Second Chance Month.
